What is MedHive?
MedHive is an AI-powered healthcare platform for Sri Lanka. It keeps a patient’s prescriptions, lab reports and medical history in one place, and connects patients, doctors and clinic pharmacies.
How does the AI prescription reader work?
You take a photo of a prescription or lab report in the MedHive patient app. The AI reads the medicine names, strengths and directions in a few seconds and saves them to your history.
What is a Med ID?
A Med ID is your personal MedHive number. You give it to a doctor, they request access, and you approve it with a code or in the app. You choose one hour or full access, and you can end access at any time.
Who can see my medical records?
Only you, and the doctors you approve. Every request shows the doctor and clinic asking, access can be limited to one hour, and you can remove it whenever you want.
Can clinics and pharmacies use MedHive?
Yes. Clinics get a portal where doctors view a patient’s history with permission and write prescriptions, and the pharmacy receives them, manages medicine stock and dispenses.
Which languages does MedHive support?
The MedHive patient app is available in English, Sinhala and Tamil.
